- While Henry and William are running to class, Henry saw Clare reading a magazine, Henry reads the front magazine about Bert saying school dinner's a big hit with everyone and realizes that Bert never says anything. She tells him, according to the magazine queen, William told Henry that they need to go. Henry snatches Clare's magazine that she was reading.

Clare has pale skin and frizzy brown hair with a pink headband. She appears to be wearing a pink shirt, blue trousers, white socks, purple medium heeled shoes, and carries a purse over her right shoulder.
Trivia[]
- Even though she is in Peter's class in the show, in "Horrid Henry's Top Ten Things", she appears skipping in the park when Henry was younger, meaning that she is much older than him (though this was clearly an error).
- In the book series, Clever Clare was part of Henry's class. In the TV series, she has moved to Peter's class.
- In Series 5, her pink headband was removed for an unknown reason (only in flash animation style and in "Horrid Henry My So Called Life").
- She also appears wearing a purple headband (only in "Horrid Henry and the 3D Nightmare").
