"Horrid Henry's Unhappy Day" is the twenty-first episode in Series 3 and the 125th episode overall.
Synopsis[]
Henry's search for the last Gross Class Zero comic looks as though it is going to end in tears, especially when he is up against Moody Margaret.
Plot[]
On Saturday, Henry tells the parents the new Gross Class Zero is the shop today because he wanted to so badly since they couldn't get there last week. The parents agree, but then they said just as he had his breakfast. They tidy it up and loaded the dishwasher, but Henry shouts, 'Noooo!!!', opening the title card.
The family arrives at the supermarket. Henry managed to get the new comic just in time, but Moody Margaret takes it off from him and runs away then he chases after her. The security guard stops Henry, but luckily he escaped from him. The shop assistant who picks up the toys, he knocked them down. Henry gets to the car and tells Dad to drive away quickly as the security guard and shop assistant shake their fists angrily. Henry was disappointed but gets an idea: when Mum says if you didn't get a copy, you can ask the publishers to send another one. After getting a ‘Eureka!’, Henry calls Gross Publishers Extraordinaire on the house phone and tells them the truth, but unfortunately, they said they'll get back after the weekend. Henry told Fang the bad news and wonders how they’ll find out if Zac Zitface escapes from the handkerchief of doom or whether Fred Fartwell could eat enough beans to blow off the doors of the vault but accidentally farts at his hamster.
Aerobic Al calls Henry on his phone, and none of them have a copy of this week’s Gross Class Zero comic. Al told Henry that Ralph lent his comic to his cousin and won't get it back until next week, Brian is still reading his own, William is on holiday, Graham ate his comic, and Bert dunno. So, Henry tries to take the comic, but Moody Margaret reads it, so he tries to take a gross gummy ball instead, but she grabs his hand. Margaret tells Henry that if he wants to read her comic, he's going to have to earn it. They made a deal, although Henry wasn't liking this, and Margaret says he can let go of her hand too.
Margaret gives Henry an outfit. Henry takes it and puts it on. He knocks on the comic, and Margaret asks if she can help him. Henry asks Margaret what he can do, and she tells him to stand there. Margaret said she's thirsty, so Henry gives her a bottle of juice. However, she said she's not thirsty, so Henry takes the juice back into the bag. Margaret said she's hungry, so Henry gives her some gross gummy balls. However, she said she's not hungry, so Henry eat a gross gummy ball and takes the package back into the bag. He asks himself if it is really worth it. Margaret said that sun's in her eyes, so Henry gives her umbrella. He tells Margaret to look at the umbrella, but she tells him to address her as Wicked Wanda. He was surprised that Wicked Wanda is in the comic. Henry wanted to see it, but Margaret refused since they made a deal breaking it, and he leaves to have tea when Margaret snaps a photo of him in an outfit. Margaret says that it really suits him, but Henry takes it off and shouts, 'Noooo!!!', ending the episode.
