"Horrid Henry, Ace Reporter" is the forty-first episode in Series 2 and the 93rd episode overall.

Synopsis

When Moody Margaret becomes editor of the school newspaper and Henry knows that their is a secret scoop behind her success. In order to get the scoop, he will need the help of an unlikely ally.

Plot

At school, Margaret becomes the Magazine Queen; Henry and William attempt to find a scoop of their own on the action. They talk to William's Dad since he's a reporter. At first, William and Henry went to the science lab where Mr Soggington introduced them to Goldilocks the fish in the fish tank. However, Margaret knew what the boys were doing. Soon the boys finally found a scoop when they entered into Miss Oddbod's office together and William, using his camera, snaps a photo of her giving Margaret money discovering she wrote untrue stuff and threatens to tell everyone about it but no money will get her out of this situation easily. Outside, Margaret and Susan hand out newspapers about Henry crowned the Magazine King to all their classmates much to his delight. Henry and William talk to Ralph about the fashion pages while everyone reads the news as the episode ends.
