Synopsis[]

Henry's always imagining what life would be like if he became King - and this is his chance to find out!

Plot[]

After school, Susan asks Margaret why they always have to play by her rules. Margaret tells Susan it's because her rules are better. Just then, Ralph and Henry walk by, and Henry declares Margaret to be bossy, but Margaret denies his answer, which leads to both of them getting into a heated argument about who's bossier. Henry promptly tells Margaret that once's he's the king, that means Margaret is not allowed to insult or yell at him, but she laughs at his statement, saying he'd be a rubbish king. This leads to Henry imagining a world where Margaret is the Queen and self-proclaimed 'Margaret, the Great' (it's also hinted at that Sour Susan, Gorgeous Gurinder, and Singing Soraya are her ladies-in-waiting, though it's made unclear).

However, Henry, along with Greedy Graham, Beefy Bert, Rude Ralph, and Aerobic Al, attack the castle, and overthrow Margaret. Ralph then crowns Henry as the new king, much to the joy of everyone, even Margaret’s followers, and everyone bows. Henry lets out a loud laugh, which opens the title card.

The scene shows Henry sitting at a table, with Graham, Ralph, and Andrew. Henry appoints Ralph as a Prince and Deputy Horrid King, (acting like an advisor). Henry then introduces some new laws, such as teachers having to work in his ketchup factory and anyone who is caught thinking of vegetables are thrown in the dungeons, which shows Peter as an example. Henry adds that babysitters must be put under arrest as well. A knock comes, and Bert enters with Dad, who is dressed in medieval clothes, and Henry asks Bert why he brought Henry's dad along.

Dad then begins to speak, but Henry makes another new law: everyone must shout. So Dad then shouts that Henry's subjects are protesting regarding the king's new laws, but Henry takes this as criticism towards the king, and orders the guards to take Dad to the dungeons. The scene changes to Henry and his friends (acting a bit like his royal council) all eating chips at a table, and Henry demands more chips. As the kitchen workers get Henry's chips ready, Mum comes out of the kitchen (dressed as a princess) and tells Henry it's his bedtime. But as Henry realises he's king now, there will be no more bedtimes for him ever again, and banishes Mum to the swamp lands forever. The guards take her away as Mum tells Henry off. Henry then summons the Royal Toy Maker, and Brainy Brian appears, dressed in medieval clothes, in the next scene.

Henry shows him a design of a giant goo shooter, and says that he wants Brian to build it for him, so he can defend his kingdom against anything and anyone. Brian is skeptical the goo shooter will work, but after being threatened by Henry, says he'll build it. The next scene shows Ralph and Henry entering the dungeon, where Peter, Margaret, and Dad are imprisoned. Dad demands Henry to release them, but Henry says he'll only be fed bread and water if he doesn't shut up. Peter says it's more than they are getting now, but Henry tells him to shut up as well, and mockingly adds that he needs to bow down before the king, but pretends to remember he can't. Henry then goes over to Margaret, and asks if she's ready to admit she's the bossiest person ever. Margaret refuses, and says Henry will always be bossier than her. Peter says he's always horrid, and then Henry asks for a certain word that begins with 'in'. Ralph guesses "inside", while Peter guesses "insolence". Peter ends up correct but promptly gets told to shut up. Henry then says they'll have an event, but he can't remember the word, which Peter says, correctly, is "jousting". Henry then adds Margaret will be taking part. Both laughing, Henry and Ralph leave as Margaret vows revenge on the new heir.

The scene changes to a tournament-like arena, with Henry and Ralph walking out onto a balcony. Henry then introduces his subjects to the Black Knight and Moody Margaret. The joust begins, after Ralph briefly questions if Margaret should be taking part considering she's a girl (which she somehow heard) but gets yelled at for questioning by King Henry, during the joust, Margaret manages to escape. And the crowds cheer for Margaret defeating the Black Knight, but Henry isn't happy with this so be banishes everyone (except Ralph, Brian, and his friends) to the swamps forever. Much to everyone's shock. Henry then says he feels like eating some chips. Henry then asks why there is no one bringing the chips, Ralph then reminds him that because he banished the citizens; there is no one left to cook the chips. So Henry then promotes 'Graham the Greedy' to the chief chef of the royal kitchens. Graham then attempts to cook some chips, but they all come out overcooked and thin. Al then asks whose idea it was to make Graham chief chef, and Henry tried to remind him, but Al says he could've been a better canddidate. Which leads to Henry banishing both Al and Bert to the swamps.

The scene changes to a scene on the turrets, where Brian is showing Ralph and Henry the goo shooter. Henry is excited about the goo shooter, calling it magnificent, and Ralph agrees. Brian is still saying it may not work, and when Ralph suggests they should listen to him, but Henry disagrees. He then throws Brian in the dungeons, and banishes Ralph to the swamps. When Ralph protests, Henry calls him a traitor. Ralph then goes to free Brian, Peter, and Dad, and once Margaret appears, explains they all know Henry's gone bonkers, and they need to do something. Margaret asks what they should do, and Ralph says he sure Margaret will think of something. As he takes off Peter's second shackle, which was suspending him in midair, Peter falls on the ground and says "Ow!"

Henry is alone, eating chips in his castle, when Andrew (possibly his new advisor) tells him "They're coming! And They don't look very happy."

Henry goes up to the same turret as before, and realises all his subjects have returned, chanting "Down with Henry the Horrible!" with Margaret and Ralph leading the rebellion. The villagers pelt Henry with tomatoes and watermelons as Henry attempts to use his goo shooter, but, just as Brian predicted, it does not work, and the goo goes all over Henry. Shocked his plan didn't work, Henry gets transported back to reality. He says he is undone, and Margaret asks what he just said. Henry is dazed, and Ralph tells him "You're Henry, you're at school, and you're arguing with Margaret about who's the bossiest."

Finally catching up, Henry begins to explain his dream, but when Al offers him a tomato in his lunch box, as Henry remembered the events, he screams NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! which ends the episode.
