"Horrid Henry and the Climbing Frame Clincher" is the eighth episode in Series 3 and the 112th episode overall.
Synopsis[]
'It's the Purple Hand Gang vs. The Secret Club when Henry and Margaret can't agree on who gets to go on the climbing frame.' Who will win the battle of the climbing frame?
Plot[]
In this episode, Wheely Walter was teaching science whereas Henry and Margaret were arguing about who gets to go on the climbing frame at break time until she bangs her fists on the desk, Walter sends them both to Miss Oddbod's office after class making them scream: 'NOOOOOOOO!!!' opening the title card. In the waiting room, 'Henry and Margaret dream about the girls stealing the school playground climbing frame and the boys attempting to get them off.' Henry and his gang find themselves in a war with the girls over the school's climbing frame. Back in reality, Miss Oddbod shows them the rota that says the girls can have it on Mondays and Wednesdays, and the boys can have it on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It is revealed that Peter and the others can have it on Fridays because that is today. Then Henry and Margaret scream 'NO!' finding it unfair, but Miss Oddbod tells them to carry on outside. Margaret tells Henry that there is always the weekend for the climbing frame and runs off but Henry screams: 'NOOOOOOOO!!!!', ending the episode.

- This is one of the few episodes that Henry and Peter's Mum and Dad are absent in and is a rare episode that 'Oh that horrid boy!' or 'Don't be horrid, Henry!' isn't said.
- This episode marks the first appearance of Wheely Walter, but as a nameless character at that point.
- With the aforementioned Wheely Walter, this episode is the first to show a disabled character onscreen.
- Peter and his friends don’t have any speaking roles in this episode.
Errors[]
- When Henry makes everyone scream after he makes the noise louder, Aerobic Al somehow went on the climbing frame with the girls.
- When Bert is being scolded by the girls, Soraya appears out of nowhere next to Linda when she wasn't there in the clip before.
- When Susan and Gurinder are pushing the ballet music close to Margaret, one of its wheels aren't moving.
