The Maths Monster is Miss Battle-Axe's transformation in Henry's imagination. After being hit twice by a division sign, it gets destroyed.

Description[]

The Maths Monster's body is a large metal box. Its head looks like a blow-up version of Miss Battle-Axe's head with a beak-like metallic nose, mortarboard-like hat, and Miss Battle-Axe's glasses and hair. It has two arms and five legs and can grab and lift students with its limbs. All of its limbs are striped with the colours of Miss Battle-Axe's clothes and resemble octopus tentacles. On the front of its body is a hatch that shoots projectiles that look like red division symbols. On the left side of the body is a wind-up key.

Appearances[]

  • "Horrid Henry and the Injection" - In Henry's imagination, Miss Battle-Axe morphs into the Maths Monster. Everyone starts panicking, except for Brainy Brian, who says 'Maths never hurt anyone!', but Henry defeats it by throwing its division sign projectiles back at it.
  • "Horrid Henry: Planet of the Grapes" When Henry is late for school, Miss Battle-Axe transforms again into the Maths Monster. Later, Rude Ralph says it made Henry faint. Brian also said again after that scene, 'Maths never hurt anyone!'.

Trivia[]

  • The maths monster doesn't speak real English. It has only said: 'Yuck, yuck, peep, peep, wibble, wibble.' like a robot.
