"Horrid Henry Goes Gross" is the forty-eighth episode in Series 3 and the 152nd episode overall.

Synopsis[]

Someone is spying on the Purple Hand Gang, and Horrid Henry is determined to find out who.

Plot[]

At school, Al watches Henry and Ralph approach the girls at the climbing frame with his stinkbomb but then their legs get tangled in a skipping rope by Margaret at school making Henry drop the stinkbomb. Then Margaret throws the stinkbomb activating green smell all over as the boys scream 'NOOOOOOO!!!' opening the title card.

Later after school, the pupils run away from Henry and Ralph as green gassy smell comes through. As they were walking home, Henry does not understand how Margaret has been one ahead of the Purple Hand Gang all week with three flashbacks of her outsmarting the boys. Henry and Ralph remembered what happened in a Gross Class Zero episode with him smell a rat meaning a mole did something but Ralph told him that he hated wildlife.

The boys are now in Henry's house watching a Gross Class Zero episode where the characters on TV with Rancid Robbie and in the end, it revealed he is a rat who tipped S.I.C.K. off. After that, Henry called a Purple Hand Gang Meeting with Ralph, Al, Bert and Brian in his fort to discuss about someone giving Margaret information on what they are planning to do before they have the chance and find out who is the mole.

When Ralph asked the members if one of them told Margaret what their plan is before they do it, Al and Brian both said 'No! No Way!' except Bert who only gave an 'I Dunno' response but they knew what he meant. Ralph says to Henry that no-body is the mole but then Henry asked him what does he say and aspects he's the mole which made Ralph upset and leave the fort.

Brian told Al that Ralph is not the mole but asked Henry if he really thinks so himself which he said Bert's line and suggest they find out. At school the next day, Henry apologies to Ralph for thinking he's the mole and has a plan to prove his innocence but Ralph just wanted Henry to trust him and he does. Then Henry whispers the plan to Ralph who agreed to try it anyway. Henry told Brian that they are going to water bomb Margaret by the girls toilets but they are really going to catch her by the boys toilets instead. Brian says that if Margaret is waiting by the girls toilets, Ralph is the mole and Henry says if she's waiting by the boys toilets, he is not the mole then they high five each other and said ‘Easy!’.

The three boys hide as Margaret walks up next to the boys toilet knowing that Henry is planning to get her. Brian asked Henry if Ralph is not the mole anymore, who is and he says 'I still dunno'. Henry was sitting in his fort when Peter asked him to play with him but he refuses because he is looking for a mole. Peter shows Henry his Roly Mo toy but he wasn't in the mood right now. So Peter goes to play with his Roly Mo but then he finds Henry's super snooper getting his attention as he looks through it seeing him.

Henry, telling the audience, realises that Margaret has been using his super snooper to spy him meaning he is the mole. With that, Henry shouts, 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!', ending the episode.
